In a rapidly changing cultural landscape it is essential for publishers to remain relevant and in-touch with their audience. The 6th Publishing Ireland annual trade day will explore the challenges of creating a coherent – and profitable – publishing brand, together with the changes in the Irish Consumer Market over the past 10 years. It will hear from an incredibly successful new independent publisher which has carved out a niche in a crowded market as well as a much-loved imprint which has maintained its identity and focus within a corporate structure. It will also look beyond publishing to examine how the wider Irish media landscape is adapting to the digital age. Hear from Irish and international industry experts for a day-long series of talks and discussions on the business and future of books. Speakers include:

Kate Wilson, founder of Nosy Crow
Rosanna Boscawen of Vintage
Oliver Beldham of Nielsen
Bill Malone of Virgin Media Television
Brendan Corbett of Eason
